Not since 2018. In Illinois you can come see a physical therapist without a referral/prescription, and your insurance will cover it. There are a few exceptions to this rule which include Medicare and HMO plans.

This allows you to save time and money, by getting treatment quickly. We are educated on when to send you for more diagnostics or immediate care by another healthcare provider.

Typically insurance companies cover physical therapy. We recommend that you call the benefit number listed on your insurance card to check on your insurance benefits before you start physical therapy.

We offer out of network rates for evaluations and follow up appointments at $150/visit, due at time of service.

We can provide you with an itemized superbill, that you can then submit to your insurance provider to be applied towards an out of network deductible.

Comfortable clothing or athletic wear is best. You are welcome to bring clothes to change into here.

As for footwear, we suggest comfortable, closed-toe shoes, preferably sneakers.
